Maria Jaramillo Gonzalez

María Jaramillo is a research intern at the IDiA lab. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Electrical Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where she has also earned a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Eduardo Romero at the Computer Imaging and Medical Applications Laboratory. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in both Electrical Engineering and Electronic Engineering. Her research interests are focused on gastrointestinal disorders, with a specific emphasis on Pancreatic and Gastric cancer, analyzing mainly Echoendoscopy and Endoscopy images. Outside of research, María enjoys reading, diving, and spending time with family and friends.
